Phil was so efficent and picked up my bike earlier than I expected. Mutt 250 from Swindon and delivered it 2 days later to my home address. Excellent service and good value too up to dealerships that charge 120 plus for local deliveries.

What a fantastic service! Phil has been in the moving business for a long time and motorcycles are his passion. He transported my BMW R1200RT and my Triumph Legend from Wiltshire to Lincolnshire and took good care of both motorcycles. He also offered to take the boxes of motorcycle kit and all the panniers. He arrived when he said he would. Nothing seemed to be too much bother for Phil. A great service, lovely bloke and I'll definitely use him again.

Phil picked up and delivered my classic CB250 a few hours early which was a major plus. He kept regular contact before delivery. The bike was well tied in the back of his (clean) van with proper straps, plus he had proper ramps to get the bike down safely and did not ask us to help. Phil takes a genuine interest in bikes and we spent a little time perusing my small collection after delivery. Would use again.

Phil was outstanding, he was able to fit me in at short notice and couldn't have been more helpful throughout the whole process. I had bought a bike online that I hadn't seen, so Phil gave it a quick check before I transferred the seller the money, and he even tried to do some haggling on my behalf! Bike arrived in perfect condition, Phil clearly takes excellent care of the bikes he's moving, because as a biker himself he knows how much they mean to their owners. I would 100% recommend Phil, really nice trustworthy guy and very reasonably priced.

Excellent service; needed a motorbike moved from the outer Bath area to South Wales during busy pre Christmas period, Phil quoted a competitive price and time at short notice and kept me informed as he picked up, checked and then delivered the bike. Then when delivered he walked me through the bike and made sure I was happy with everything. This company was an absolute life saver at such short notice. My Ninja had alarm issues and after many attempts it just couldn't be sorted out and needed to go to a garage.
At such short notice Phil came out and was able to take the bike and get it to the garage before closing.
He was very friendly, professional and had all the right straps etc to make sure the bike was secure in the van.
I totally felt at ease that the bike would be ok in the van and had no worries at all. The price on such short notice was great, I couldn't help but give him a tip as he really did come out and save me.

I would 100% recommend this company for any bike transport you need and I would definitely use him in the future.

Went with Phil today to buy and collect an old Kawasaki. Excellent service with the bonus of having someone on hand with a wealth of bike knowledge when inspecting the bike. Fantastic service from Phil and an absolute top bloke came highly recommended. Easy to arrange and dealt with the bike transport from start to finish. Collecting my bike from Bath and delivering it right to the terminal at Liverpool dock all I had to do was pay the bloke which was more than a reasonable price and turn the key. Phil also had the decency to stay in touch from the time the bike was collected from the dealership to the time it was delivered taking any nagging doubt out of the whereabouts of the transport. Will be using in the future and will most definitely recommending to others back home. Thanks again Phil

Phil transpored two bikes for me . He kept me fully updated after he had collected them , and also provided a very accurate delivery time. He was very thorough in checking what had to be collected in terms of paperwork, spares etc , and he loaded the bikes very well , and there was no danger of damage to bodywork, fork seals etc . Phil is a bike rider himself , and he understands issues about bike transportation very well. Totally reliable and honest - there are plenty of dodgy characters in the field of bike transportation, Phil most certainly is not one of them. Highly recommended.

From the moment my husband called Phil from Shifting Gear we felt in we were in good hands.My husband needed 2 classic bikes moved from South England to Scotland, so quite a journey.Phil was very professional at all times, giving us regular calls to update us on his arrival time in Scotland. We were very impressed when we saw how well secured the 2 bikes were inside the big van. I was also very pleased with the price as I thought it very reasonable for such a long journey. Jutta, Stuttgart,Germany,I live in Germany and my father lived in Cornwall. On my fathers death he had left me two historic motorbikes which i wanted my brother in law to have who lives in Scotland. My brother in law found " shifting gear" advertised in a magazine and contacted Phil.
Without any problems at all, Phil was able to collect and deliver at a good price and took great care of the motorbikes.

The bike had been stood up for a couple of years+ and I was honestly a little concerned about having any company do this. After many Google searches / broker sites / emails and calls to very companies (most of which i could not manage to an answer at any reasonable pace) - Then i found shifting gears, Phil @ Shifting Gears promptly answered and provided me with a solution. He took time to understand my concerns put my mind at ease and even followed up with face to face visit and some solid planning, provided regular and timely updates with notable attention to detail. Excellent attention to detail! Phil put the bike very neatly on my drive in exactly the same condition it was in on the side, then locked safely for me. Even offered to pump the tyres for me before hand! **10/10** would definitely use again.
